Melissa Clemente Designs is an accessory design company directed at broadening Canada’s perceptions of what is considered fashionable. Primarily targeting women between the ages 18-35, MCD is now also integrating men into the demographic.

The urban romanticism movement, pairing the provocative with the practical, fine with costume - these heavily influences the company’s direction. Each line is sui generis – within a class of its own. These dramatic pieces are not merely last minute punctuations for an outfit, but the eye-catching essentials that become the look.

Spring 2009 celebrates MCD's second year of defining style and a one of a kind product that has taken us to many places. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincerest gratitude to all of you who have contributed to the success of our growth.

Over the last 2 years, we have seen MCD grace the pages many magazines, fashion sites, and blogs. This spring MCD debuts on the runways of the exciting Sydney Fashion week along side designer Eduardo Calucag -

We are pleased to announce that you can now find MCD accessories at Toronto's Cryptic Canvas, City Uptown (located in the fashion department of George Brown Campus) and we are also at Le Boutique Boudoir in Vancouver BC.

And so, after a thrilling year of ideas old and new coming to fruition, we are currently gestating on our upcoming launch for next season. Keep an eye out for the new 2010 MCD Spring/Summer line coming November 2009.
